Ask questions about the route, pace, and who else will be attending
Trust your instincts - if something feels off about the communication, choose another group
Share Your Plans
Always tell a friend or family member where you're going
Share the details of your Wylder run group and expected return time
Consider using Wylder's "Share My Run" feature to automatically notify a trusted contact
During Your Run

Arrive a few minutes early to assess the situation
Consider bringing a friend to your first run with a new group
Stay Aware
Keep alert to your surroundings at all times
Run with at least one earbud out if listening to music
Stick to the planned route that was shared in the app

Carry your phone and keep it charged
Know how to quickly access Wylder's emergency features
Familiarize yourself with emergency exits or public places along your route
